Structure and finance

As of 1 May 2011, South West Essex Community Services is part of North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT).

Prior to the transfer the organisation was hosted by South West Essex Primary Care Trust (NHS South West Essex).

Community Services was transferred as part of the nation Transforming Community Services programme to create a separation between the organisation that plans and commissions services (the primary care trust) and the one that provides care and services.
